Morocco – Turn the corner and it’s another world
2010/03/05 (Edit)

On a journey of the five senses in the country of a thousand landscapes, Patrícia Brito and Inês Rodarte discovered that beyond the snowy peaks of the Atlas Mountains lie the vast dunes of the Sahara. En route they encountered palmerais and red adobe kasbahs, small and charming towns, souks perfumed with spices and soaked in history, characters like those from the Arabian Nights whose hospitality is enjoyed between sips of mint tea. In Marrakech, the most beautiful of the southern cities, and in Fez, the town that guards the cultural identity of an ancient people, they were touched by the history of civilisations, becoming hooked on the most innocent of drugs: Morocco itself, where the first-time visitor always returns.
